Warranty Terms

If you buy as a consumer, you benefit from the statutory warranty of 2 years for lack of conformity, as provided for in the Belgian Civil Code. This statutory warranty always applies and is in no way limited by these terms.

For refurbished (second-hand) machines, the statutory warranty period may be set at 1 year by mutual agreement; where this applies, it is stated expressly on the quotation and the invoice.

Any defect that becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery, unless that presumption is incompatible with the nature of the machine or of the defect.

In addition to the statutory warranty, we provide our own commercial warranty on every machine:

• New machines: 24 months from delivery, covering parts and labour.
• Refurbished machines: 12 months from delivery, covering parts and labour.
• Individual parts and payment systems: 12 months from delivery.
• Out-of-warranty repairs: 6 months' warranty on the replaced part and the repair carried out.

The commercial warranty never affects your statutory rights — it applies in addition to them.

The warranty covers any functional defect attributable to a fault in materials, manufacture or assembly under normal use, including:

• the cooling system and temperature control;
• the dispensing mechanisms (spirals, lifts, doors and drawers);
• the machine's electronics, lighting, displays and sensors;
• payment systems supplied and installed by us;
• the machine's software as supplied by us.

If a defect is covered by the warranty, we repair the machine or replace the defective part free of charge, including labour and travel within Belgium.

The warranty does not apply to damage or defects caused by:

• normal wear and tear and consumables (bulbs, fuses, filters, keys, seals);
• misuse, overloading, or use that departs from our guidelines and the manual;
• repairs, modifications or other interventions carried out by the customer or by third parties without our written consent;
• external causes: vandalism, theft or burglary, water damage, lightning strikes, power surges, fire or extreme ambient temperatures;
• non-compliant installation (an unstable or uneven floor, insufficient ventilation clearance, no earthed socket);
• inadequate maintenance or cleaning, or the use of aggressive cleaning products;
• cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) that does not affect operation, unless reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Breaking the warranty seals or removing the serial number voids the commercial warranty; your statutory warranty naturally remains intact.

To make a warranty claim:

• Report the defect as soon as possible — for consumers, no later than within 2 months of discovering it — by emailing info@mirkozvending.com or via WhatsApp.
• State the machine type and serial number, give a brief description of the problem and, if possible, include a photo or video. This allows us to resolve many cases remotely.
• Keep your purchase invoice to hand; it serves as your proof of warranty.

We acknowledge every report within 2 working days and, where needed, schedule an intervention straight away.

Together with you, we choose the quickest and most sensible solution, in this order: repair on site, repair in our workshop, replacement of the part or of the machine.

If a defect covered by the statutory warranty cannot be repaired or the item replaced within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you are entitled as a consumer to an appropriate price reduction or to rescission of the sale with a refund.

During a lengthy repair of a machine under warranty, we look for a replacement unit wherever possible, so that your point of sale keeps running.

If you rent a machine, care comes included as standard: maintenance and repairs due to normal wear and tear are at our expense for the entire rental period.

Damage caused by misuse, vandalism or external causes falls outside that cover and is charged on in accordance with the rental agreement.
