We deliberately keep things to a minimum. By default this website sets no non-essential cookies at all: analytics cookies (Microsoft Clarity) only load after you opt in, and we do not use advertising cookies at all.

We only set non-essential cookies after you have given your consent via the cookie banner. If you refuse them, the website works exactly as well — you miss out on nothing.

We divide cookies into four categories:

• Necessary — needed for the website to work securely, such as the cookie that remembers your cookie preferences and the secure session for our administrators. No consent is required for these.
• Preferences — remembered choices that improve your experience, such as your language or the light/dark theme.
• Analytics — anonymised statistics about how the website is used, so we can improve it. Only with your consent.
• Marketing — cookies for personalised advertising. We do not currently use this category. Should we ever do so, we will ask for your consent again first.

On your first visit, you choose via the cookie banner: accept everything, only necessary cookies, or your own selection per category. Both main choices are equally simple — refusing never takes more clicks than accepting.

Your choice is stored in a single first-party cookie and remains valid for a maximum of 12 months. If we materially change our use of cookies, we increase the consent version and ask you again.

You can adjust or withdraw your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of what happened before.

You can also always delete or block stored cookies yourself via your browser settings:

• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
• Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.

Please note: if you also block necessary cookies, some parts of the website may not work as well.

When an external service is active on our pages with your consent (for example for anonymised statistics), that provider may set its own cookies. We do not have full control over their content and operation; please also consult the privacy and cookie policy of the provider concerned.
